Texas camping YEEEE-HAW!!!

Cool! I HATE doing dishes!

So that was fun....until.....something BIG hit my kayak. I thought it was going to flip me! My heart stopped, then it started racing then I screamed I'm done. I was panicking! Once I could breath again I agreed to go on.But I think I p'ed myself a little. I'll post pics when I get home.

Don't know. We were wondering what it would be like to catch one while fishing on the kayak. It would end bad I think.

There was a gar carcass near our truck. Got some pics of it. They're freaky looking things!

I would guess the gar who pull your ass all over the lake... then jump into the kayak w/ya .... maybe bust the kayak into pieces

Lol no not a bright idea! Mike was saying if you do get it in the kayak you just gonna let it flop btwn your legs and hope its teeth don't trash you!

ok i have some pics........

CRR- we must have much different ideas of fun ;)

hahahaha. for all the psychos about to call CPS on me you can know she was with Ya-ya and not in a cage. she climbed in there before dinner.

Nice pics, Mrs. Shotgunner. That's actually not a gator gar, but a longnosed gar, which is the kind we get around here. Longnose gar get about twice that big, and gator gar about three times that big. Gator gar also have a much wider snout and kinda jagged nasty lookin teeth. Yes, I'm a nerd.

WHat type of kayaks are those and where did you get them? Cost?

That was $650 for both by the way.

Academy has them for $399 each.

Good all around Yak', tracks OK, fast enough, pretty stable, plenty of storage.

Holds me above the water at 265 pounds so can't be all bad.
