OMG Alan make one of these for me in a left hand version and I will be your friend forever!! Nice job. You sir are amazing!

Dang Ken .... you beat me to it! I was so excited to see a dealer get in some of the natural stag GEC 18 Beagles that I was rushing to pick out the best looking one (so that that I didn't get skunked on one of them). Low and behold, while I was doing that ..... I missed out on this one!!!! Love that wood! You should probably consider letting it go soon though .... you already have a Davis with that Damascus pattern!! (Hint!!) Beautiful wood .... oh, I mentioned that already .... but it can't be repeated enough!! Congrats!

Leave some for the rest of us!

I haven't been close to in time in maybe a year or more!

Beautiful knife as always Alan. Honestly, more then anything else, I troll this part of the forum to see what you come up with next.

Well I did get lucky on this one Dennis, I'm glad you were shopping. The good news is my wife and I are staying in Florida this summer so fish is a plenty. More knives without the necessity of beans and rice.😊

Alan,
Spalted pecan ought to be relatively easy to find in Texas. Like N FL, TX near I-10 has lots of trees. Many are older and are either being taken out by development or replaced by newer, more productive varieties. Plus it's a brittle wood, so big limbs come down in storms. I'm guessing you have the contacts to stabilize it. Just be on the look out for pecan growers.
