Texas-sized Generosity!

I am thinking of putting that nice Yellow Rose into rotation!

I've really never carried a slim (California?) clip. With the semi-sunk joints, and single-spring construction, the knife is quite carry-able!
Nice SFO job, John!!

I usually carry a knife for weeks before I switch to another.
Here are my most recent - 2016s.

The middle three just got back (with grace and peace!;)) from a guy who does a good job of sharpening! I don't know if I can mention his name here, but he puts a nice micro-bevel edge on 'em!!

I can't think of anyone who deserves it more, Charlie. You are a big part of why this place is so great, and you have the singularly unique ability to leverage old cutlery tradition into new pocket jewelry. Carry that lovely rose in good health, sir!

That Schrade Barlow is ever so wonderful, BTW. I'm hoping to find one like it at the next knife show, assuming the TIP TOP that I know is waiting for me somewhere in this life doesn't pick that weekend to show up.

I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea about me . I totally took advantage of Charlie . I send him a list of knives that I was after . Only one he had was the 66 stockman and it was his only example . Before the trade was done, I believe he was receiving gift offers . I'm really glad he had pity on me and let me pry that 66 off of him. Thanks Charlie

You are welcome John!
I was happy to be able to gift uncle Alan that knife Tribute to his much-admired big brother Stew!!
And that #66 stockman is in a good home!

John, I have a few of Charlies most prized SFO's - that 66 is one of my all time favourites, I stand by this statement that its is as good as Custom Quality - just an outstanding, wonderful knife, I am glad you helped Charlie out.
