Thanks for all the welcomes and well wishes guys. Were just getting settled in around here. I'm really liking it so far.
My POD got here this week and unloading in the heat has been a bear but I guess it's helping me get used to it. I'm trying to move my outside activity up about an hour a day. I'm starting at about 3pm now and it's still flippin' hot even that late. I'm lucky to be able to take a few weeks off of work to get settled.
I mowed the lawn of a fellow across the street who had shoulder surgery yesterday at about 3 and I was sweating buckets but I got it done. It's getting better.
I must say, coming from the east coast, people are much friendlier around here. I keep thinking they want something from me the way they just spark up a conversation out of the blue. I really need to stop using the pepper spray so quick.
