TexTuff - what phenolic is this?

A few years ago, the owner of Tx Knifemakers suggested a phenolic laminate called "Textuff" to me instead of G10. He said the properties were fairly close, but Textuff was much cheaper, and it had a different finish. I recently asked TX Knifemaker's if the material has another name, but the only reply I got was that they don't stock it anymore. Does anyone know what material this stuff really is?

I don't know - it says the composition is abrasion resistant SBR/GUM, whatever that is. Actually, since it comes in rolls, I think it's a different material. That first link is about what Mr. Lemcke told me about it years ago. I've been pleased with it, but always wanted to know more.

I didn't see that part about rolls. I guess that company is more into rubber products.
