TGLB..INFI or other how do I tell the difference?

Another way to tell ifa blade is infi, incase you get a sterile no logo or stripped logoless blade would be to take a peice of sandpaper, rub a patch on your arm then touch the steel to it. If it burns like alcohol its infi

The larger fuller and hollow grind are particularly helpful if you are dealing with an un-coated blade. Like if you come across a stripped blade that was not etched. Also, I believe the TGLB was the only model with rounded edges on the spine, guards and pommel, like the Nuclear Meltdown treatment.
That's a great score for sure:thumbsup: and my favorite color combo:) black canvas on tanker gray.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread.

My TGLB came in today, the coating has been stripped off. How do I tell what steel it is?

I'm guessing the steel was on the coating.

Based on the photo in your other thread...The BUSSE Logo is still on the blade which indicates INFI...The Logo when etched goes Through The Coating so you have it Etched in the Steel. However be aware that you can order Sterile blades without the Logo.

eta: BUSSE Battle Grade SR-101 is a completely different LOGO than the BUSSE INFI LOGO.
