Hello everyone,
I'm going to Thailand (planing on visiting Bangkok, and Phuket) I wanted to ask for some recommendations, tips advice, and maybe even warnings on what to keep my eye out for when I'm looking for a knife or blade. I'm still new to collecting so my termanology is very poor (sorry about that) but I have no idea what to look for when I'm there. Like I want to find a good traditional knife made in Thailand. If anyone could give me advice that would be amazing !
Thank you

The only things that I watch out for in Thailand are the Ladyboys. But most of them haven't gone "under the knife", so there are quick ways to find out.. As far as traditional knives in Thailand, most of them are for food prep. That being said, most folders sold there are Chinese.

I am gonna be in Thailand the entire January. When I go I don't even bring any folders. I hate that but I want no risks with local police. I've never reached out and visited knife and sword spots there but Previous threads here say that they got places.

Gonna be in Bangkok, ChiangMai, and Phuket chillin.

If you like big knives, machetes, cleavers, choppers, that sort of thing, look for Aranyik products. They make good stuff.
