Ive been rubbing Tru-oil on it for a few days now to touch it up. The inlays are really nicely done. They are set pretty deep and tacked down with brass tacks so they arent going anywhere. This is the first knife Ive bought with inlays in the sheath like this and i am very impressed! Well done!

Solid nickel guard is really nicely done.

Fits in the sheath pretty nicely. I really like these wooden sheaths!

Check out that skull crunching pommel. Its a solid nickel cube and really helps make the 18"+ blade feel like nothing. Very nice balance, lively and fast for the weight. This knife feels like all the weight is under your fingers and the blade is like nothing to swing. The balance point is at the choil almost at the guard. Really interesting feel.

Dont know what to say about the cutout but it sure is unique and looks fantastic with the engravings.

There. Thats a knife:thumbup: Well done Thamar!

That's really something! Fine looking knife. Next time I'm down, remind me I want to hold that one and see what it feels like.

Khul knives eh? This one has got to be in the top handful of favorites. Looks like something Yuvraj would do but this a Thamar! He continues to impress! I wonder if he does long swords?

Well id send it your way on the way to pugs but i really like the sheath too. Maybe I can loan it to ya for a while but you have to wait till i gets some quality Texas time first;)

To risky my friend. If it got to the NW it might be lost and never seen again.

Did that show up with the Hasiya? or that was a few days ago right?

That might be a ploy to try, order like 3, get caught with one and stash the other two. Your still in the doghouse but it's a 3 or more for 1 deal.

Man you got it! I got the Dhankute a few days ago it just that i dont get home till dark so I cant take pics till the weekend. Today was pic day. The Hasiya definitely tamed things down until the fish knife comes in. I also mailed Aunti Y for two more Bawanna Bowies. Im hoping she has a few Bhaktas left. Im gifting one of them to my father n law for christmas. Lastyear I showed him a 15" AK rajkumar and he liked it but was too big for what he was used to. Im thinking your ABK would be perfect for him. He is a real Texas cowboy. There aint many real cowboys left.

Interesting that the balance is at the choil with such a big knife, even more so because W.E. Fairbairn (kind of the father of modern western knife fighting) was of the opinion that for a normal fighting knife the balance belonged one inch back from the guard, right where the choil is on your knife.
