This is why I love buying from "cottage vendors" and forum members. It puts a name and face on a purchase that otherwise would just be one more among a billion others.

I also just received my pack of stainless hardware for my BK16 about an hour ago, only to find a handwritten note of thanks and in addition to the hex cap screws I ordered he threw in the slotted screws for me to try out. Now tell me, can you get that off of Amazon? I think not.

Dex, it's been a pleasure rambling with you online about all sorts of stuff. I had a bunch of very interesting conversations with you, both on here as through email and I'm sure many more will follow. A big thanks from my part as well. You took the the trouble of figuring out how to get things shipped across the pond and I couldn't be more thankful. You're the major reason I was able to continue this hobby at an acceptable price level for us overseas guys. So a big thanks to you man. Keep it up!

So do you recommend putting a Patina on my knife? I see you did on most of your knives. If so, what method works best? and yes, email all your secrets about antler's and thanks for the first suggestion.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner.

First I'd like to thank you Dex for what you have brought to Beckerville. You've been one of the most consistently great guys on our forum from your first day. Also, I think that whatever success you've had with Coyle Outdoors has been well deserved and earned. You've definitely given me more than enough reason to spend my coin with someone I know, like and trust instead of a faceless mega-corp that only cares about next quarter's spreadsheet.
So thank you Dex for everything and I hope that you continue to prosper in your new business as well as with your family.
