Thank you AT&T.........

That would have been the Lithium Ion battery inside shorting out and ridding itself of all its stored energy.

Was that an iPhone? Couldn't you have sold it somewhere and made at least $100? Or was a dead phone the problem?

Like I said.........this time it was personal. Selling it wouldn't have given me anywhere near the satisfaction. "..........driving your Anniversary Steel Heart through your miserable phone..........priceless."

Dangg, I had to pay 700 bucks for my new cell phone from at&t last month. Thanks for the idea of what to do with my old Galaxy S3. I'd do a destruction test with my new Mofo I just got, but I'll stick it to it with my Infi TGLB tomorrow.

I will be expecting pics! 🗡

ok, I can see this being a very fun thread. I plan on destroying a few ATT phones now this weekend.

"Hello AT&T, my phone won't turn on"
"What seems to be the problem?"
"There's a giant knife stabbed through it"
"Did you try turning it off and then back on?"

You know what the sad part is about that............they would probably really say that.

I'm demanding a picture to confirm this process. :D

AT&T sucks. I have to go outside to talk. To text, I have to stand on one leg with a pressure cooker on my head and a coat hanger up my ass. Ready to make a change.

To those who have participated so far, did you find the tip of your blade a little blunted after piercing through plastic, glass and battery? It was dang fun , I noticed some of the Tanker grey coating was removed as well, I also got poked on the finger by one of the micro shards of glass while cleaning off my chopping log.

I for one, did not. Then again.......my ASH has stabbed, sliced and hammered through concrete blocks, frying pans, cold rolled steel pipes, bulldozer mufflers and steel engine gaurds. Still no sign of any damage.

I keep wanting to retire my fat ASH and just appreciate what I've put her through.........but something always comes up, like a worthless cell phone from A&TT, that needs destroying!

I totally get that, and I can't fault you for it. But unless I'm wrong (and I could easily be), wasn't that a new iPhone 7? I would think you could have easily gotten at least $300 for it, which is enough for a new Busse. That's where I'd be thinking about taking it out on something else, and getting some new steel too. Your call though. ;)

No damage to my Basic 9 at all. Major damage to the phone though... Lol! [emoji38][emoji1]

Oh dang could probably chop it in two with a Basic 9. I just remembered I have 4 old computer monitors from the late 90's stacked up in the basement. I'm not gonna use a Busse on them but someday might get a sledgehammer from the hardware store.

See post #20 of this thread. I just stabbed the sucker.

I have no doubt I could've chopped it in half, but the pic I was working on was for another thread.

It just happened to work out that it IS an AT&T phone, and I had "deanimated it with extreme prejudice, with a Busse". Just a wild stroke of luck I guess! :D
