Yesterday I posted that there is some hope regarding my wife's medical condition and you guys responded...boy, did you guys respond.

Last night I read some of the responses to her and, looking over, saw that she had started to cry big happy tears. It made her feel really good to know that there are people out there that she's never even met, that are pulling for her.

She asked if I could thank y'all and I told her that you guys would probably appreciate a topless shot of her by way of thanks...there's a bruise on my arm now that may never go away.

Seriously, thank you everybody. Understand that there's a family out there that now includes all of you in their prayers as well.

On the plus side, she pulled out her old .22 and cleaned it so maybe there'll be a range session this weekend.

On the negative side, she began musing about a centerfire rifle...there goes my bonus check.

You may have lost your bonus check, but it sounds like you have quite a jewel there! Take care and we're thinking of ya.

Heck nothing wrong with spending some money on a gun for ya lady....done it 4 times now and its still fun to watch her shoot:D. It does hurt those checks a tad though.

I can still beat her scores with most handguns but she really took to rifles...if she gets any better I'll have to start tweaking her sights before we go out...gotta keep her humble. Her head's just about the only part of her that doesn't swell up on a regular basis.

When she was in hospital, she had a stack of gun mags next to the bed and Survivorman and Cold Steel's PROOF DVD's to watch on her laptop. I was visiting and she got into an educated discussion with a male nurse about which handgun he should buy for personal defense.
