I cannot begin to tell all of you just how much I appreciate the help from Duncan and Stephen in helping me with my old Primble collection.

I owe both of them a lot and have attempted to gift in return, however, it seems that good just isn't good enough in my mind.

I am proud to call you my friend Duncan and thank you my friend.

I would also like to thank Mark again for the old Hatch knife, which he recently gifted me. It is a wonderful old knife, as well.

I need to get to work on the old Primble cabinet and make it into a beautiful showcase for my beautiful old Primbles.

Thank you. :thumbup::)

Heart warming grace which I know well! It does not get any better than you two!!! Can't wait to see the 'Primble' display...it's gonna sing:D

The Highest Order of Excellence!

That chest of drawers is really beautiful too, you can send it here if you've a mind:D:thumbup:

All the best, Will

Ah, these are the photos I was hoping to see earlier. Extraordinary examples of the brand. The stag handled jack is a beautiful and rare bird in my opinion, and caramel colored bone whittler is equally gorgeous, and looks to be in mint condition. Seeing these photos really made my day. Thanks. :D

Incredibly thoughtful and wonderful gifts from Duncan who is clearly a very generous gentleman. Kudos to you Duncan for your kindness, and congratulations to you Primble for the beautiful additions to your collection. The two of you are top-notch examples of the generosity and graciousness that make our sub-forum a remarkably special place.

That cabinet is going to look great when you put your knives in there Primble. You are a good man and deserving of everything my friend.:)

Oh...I am getting sick of my Case Red Bone desktop that I stole from you, so could you hurry up and get that darn case filled and photographed....I'm getting old:eek::barf:...Sheesh!:D

Wow how cool and wonderful a package! That stag is excellent and those Primbles are in excellent shape. About how old are they if you know?

Duncan is a FIRST CLASS gentleman of the highest order... Two thumbs up to you sir! :)

Jeff,

Looking at the tang stamp and the overall look of the knife, I think the stag Primble was most likely manufactured in the 1940-1968 era.

I don't remember the last time I saw a stag Primble like this one. I think they are rare.

I am not sure about the era for the bone handled Primble. It has a different tang stamp.

Maybe Duncan knows and will come along with more information.

Awesome. Beautiful knives and other goodies! And who was just saying he gave away all his knives???

I suppose I made it sound worse than it really was. ;) Your Calypso Blue is all boxed up and ready to roll tomorrow morning, as is all the winner's boxes.

That would be Primbles son. Primble got swallowed by a big fish three days ago.

Mark - I cut that big fish wide open with my "Hatch" knife and swam back to my boat. (BIG upscale fish are all I ever catch) I got back home just in time for the race. :D

Outstanding Duncan! What amazing gifts! Primble, I'm sure you will treasure those forever, and the friendship they represent. That stag is exceptional, and the peachseed chestnut bone takes my breath away. The bone looks like it has real depth and translucence to it.

I can't help it if the big fish only bite for me - what would you do if you were me - quit fishing? :D

I think you have it backwards - the big fish bite you! :D

Is your Damascus fillet knife for sale?......you never use it.

Clansman.....Your bloods worth bottling..Wonderful contributions to a new collection and a fine gesture..Onya
