Thank you from Primble to Campbellclanman

There is a say here in Hebrew that roughly translates to You do good , You get good.

Perfectly suits you Duncan

I suppose I made it sound worse than it really was. ;) Your Calypso Blue is all boxed up and ready to roll tomorrow morning, as is all the winner's boxes.

I think you just made my day - and some others. :D

Those are outstanding knives Primble  What a lovely gesture from Duncan, who is always generous to a fault. Well done (again) Duncan, you're an absolute star my friend :) :) :)

Hold on now........:D
Theres something very fishy going on here - ( apart from all the fish talk), I think Primble speaks with forked Tongue!!!

First of all, Primble Sir - it is me who should be thanking you!!!!.. Folks what our good mate has forgotten to tell you guys is that HE has gifted ME some knives.....and I have to tell you I was staggered when I opened up my package from Primble, this extremely kind and generous man is half right when he says he has gifted his knives away!!!
The deal was that I supply him with these Primbles you have seen, I really loved those knives - I really did-and still do, but when I was "talking" to Primble and he explained where and how he got his name, I had this massive urge to send these knives - he very kindly in such a polite manner turned me down - this would be to his generous side that giving is far more easier than receiving.....

So we struck this deal -he sneaked a Single bladed Walnut TC Clip Point Barlow, now I missed out on those - and so this was the start of the beginning of Primbles thank you thread to me - which Primble my friend - I thank you for so much - thats extremely nice of you- when really it should be me making the thread - but I think it would be great if I show folks here just how ( once again ) you have shown what a very fantastic guy you really are, and it is ME who is proud to call you a friend!

Not only did Primble gift me the STUNNING TC - but there was another knife all ever carefully bundled up... Oh man... now did I say OH MAN!!!! - because inside was this absolute corker of a RED BONE CASE Canoe!!! and a CASE XX at that!!!! This MINT knife has a great etch - well - its more of a stamping as its so deep!! - this is a stunning knife - and how you let it slip from your grasp Sir is beyond me - which shows just how better you are than I-and thats a good thing because in life we always need goals to strive for, and Primble joins the elite rank in my opinion of the great people we have, I just cant start to name the amount of people who have been so good to me, so helpful, and so generous to me - and I never dreamed I would own the knives that I do today - and good people - its because of you and you do know who you are!!

My friend Primble - well, he included a beautiful CASE Sheath - one that sits sideways on your belt - ha...I didnt quite know how you wore it to be honest, so Primble sent me a photo with it on his belt - mate!!! what a super cool sheath - its on my belt as I type!!!!:thumbup: most awesome Primble - just fantastic!!!

The man didnt stop there - he on top - threw in a great CASE Key Ring, that now does the Jingle-Jangle with my bunch of keys!!!...anyway...heres some photos of our friends most gracious gifts - Primble Sir..thank you - thank you so so much, heres a few photos - I kinda feel guilty for ending this, I struggle to find words that describe just how thankful I really am, but hopefully our forum friends will feel what I do when looking at these knives - then the feeling will help me explain.......

My Single Bladed TC Walnut Clippy, along with the double bladed version I was lucky enough to buy off our great dealer Barry ( thank you Barry  - good service this man )

Another shot....

And

This wonderful Case Canoe, Primble-thank you so very much!

Just look at this magnificent package!!

So as you can see everyone, its me who really needs to thank Primble - you cannot keep this most fantastic generosity up my friend, but please do not stop showing us your wonderful photography, and sharing with us your wisdom, and your everyday thoughts - thank you for all of that Primble.

Ok - forked tongue, sneaky, and a sand-bagger.:D You guys and gals are great - thank you everyone for the nice comments and I might have sand bagged a LITTLE, but, thank you once again Duncan for making me look good, when all of this was your idea! I will always cherish the contents you so generously gifted me.:)

Duncan - you did those knives justice - great pictures. I had never photographed the Canoe. It looks like it is photogenic.

Best regards,
Primble

Haha Primble - Sir thank you very very much for these wonderfull gifts and your friendship.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments - they are much appreciated - I am sure when I say this that both Primble and I are humbled.to receive such great comments by such a wonderful group of people.

I had an old John Primble I traded my brother for when we were kids. It was carbon and was a camping knife. I had it from then (60's ) to sometime in the late 90's it dissapeared. I think it is lost in my house somewhere.

Very nice!
...and then I see page two!!! Awesome stuff all around gents!:thumbup:
