As a thank-you and token of my appreciation to all of the great people here, I am offering the chance to win this Schrade USA peanut knife. It is like new in its cigar box and has nice brown bone scales. Just post your interest in this thread. The winner will be selected using some yet to be determined random scientific method. Those are beautiful knives...I keep kicking myself in the rear for not buying some when our local Rural King had them on close out special...

One of the very first knives I bought with my own money was a Schrade 51OT, that was back in '76.

I also like this place, it's a refined subforum, people actually treat each other like humans here, opinions are heard, conversations stimulated, intelligent responses evoked and just plain darn ol' good folk around.

Ain't a one of ya I wouldn't be proud to have a drink and dinner with or entertain ya while ya visited the the neighborhood.

Oh yea and a lot of you guys are the same SOB/Pirates that hang their handles out at the Cove and W&C and that's what makes this place great, you know how to act in the respective subforums, (now I gotta stop watchin' Dr. Phil when me and the the Old Lady are watchin' TV together)(TMI:rolleyes:)

I think 'nap time' is definitely by favorite set of words. I could use one right now, in fact.

I'd like to throw my name in the ring for the knife. I've been meaning to pick up a Peanut, but funds are tight and can't justify any knives at the moment (despite having a Plat Case dealer 10 miles from my hotel in Miami...business, not pleasure :().

Thank you for the opportunity to win the Schrade USA knife. An American Schrade and a Peanut would be two firsts for me (three, if you count never having a bone-handled knife before)
