Thank you, Gus.

Congratulations! Gus is definitely a good guy, no argument from me. Enjoy the beautiful knife. ;)

There was no need for it but....this is another proof of the fact that this subforum is populated by incredibly nice people.
Thanks to both of you...not just for giving away and receiving this knife, but for your contribution to this place.

Congrats and enjoy Carl, you deserve it.
And Gus: four thumbs up.

One of the reasons that I'm glad I found this forum after quitting with my Spydies is the fact that this forum reminds me of the Spyderco forums.

The same friendlyness, warmth and generosity.

Everyday on this Forum we see great acts of kindness to many levels, post number two sums it up straight, 2 class acts.

:o I missed this thread. Just was swamped with work this week and have been catching up today.

To set the records straight on this. Mqqn contacted me at Blade and left these for me with the wish that they be given away. We got together with the other 2011 organizers and decided to send one to Carl and one to Esav.

Now I gotta come up with something to earn the complements. :D. Thanks guys there is a core of good folks on this forum and I feel fortunate to have gotten to know some of them.

Couldn't have gone to a better man. Grats Carl and thank you Gus for such an awesome place to hang out :)

I too just ran across this thread. I really like to read, and see the pics. that show up on this forum. The friendship, and respect shows. I still have problems getting pictures, and having the ability to get them on this site. I have a lot of older, and newer slip joints. Every time I read about a knife new on here, just makes me search for one to enjoy. It is a crazy, enjoyable addiction I have. I really, really enjou my knives, and reading about others with the same addiction. If anyone comes up with a cure, just keep it to yourself, as I am having too much fun. Too old to have anyother addiction. LOL.
This is the kindest gesture, of one giving something to another friend. It seems that almost all on here I would consider a good friend. I really enjoy Carl's stories about life in the simple lane. Great mods. on here keeps up on track also.
Glad to be a small part of something so great.
Harold
