When you said you were sending me a knife, I had no idea it would be a custom! Thanks again bro.

I'm going to send you one of my O1 kiridashies!

wow that's awesome man, you're so lucky...
I think it's gonna be a perfect tactical tool...
btw what makes you think it's titan? Is it light, tough?
I'm just curious...

Didn't think it would get delivered today. Glad you got it. Just paying it forward. I flipped a lot of my knives this week except one folder I couldn't part with. Was gonna flip the Pinkerton too, but thought meh. I'll just pay it forward. I'll own another one some day. Plus, I've met the maker. I'm sure I'll run into him at next year's Blade.

The wrap was a pain to get that tight. Feel free to take it off if you want and put some g10 on it or something.

O1 kiridashi should be interesting. Never had anything in O1 yet. Should be interesting.

EDIT: Just watched the video you put up. It is a custom. It is actually the first of its kind that had a V grind. His earlier Variable Broadheads were chisel ground. I asked him specifically to get it double ground. In the past he made them in 154cm. The one I sent ya is s30v. The HTM versions are titanium and chisel ground. DP's current Broadheads are all v-ground from what I've seen. He probably still makes chisel grinds on request.

Review I did when I got it: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...n-Variable-BroadHead?highlight=dirk+pinkerton

Awesome. Should make for a great cutter. I have never had a kiridashi before, but the blade geometry makes for a great utility piece. Check out the review I linked ya above of the Pinkerton. It has more info about it.

Sent it out today!
