This weekend was filled with memorable events but one of the highlights for me was getting to spend time with Joe. I have never met anyone who gives themselves so unselfishly to a cause, without thought for reimbursement. All this man wants to do is bring up those around him and show off their work in a positive light. I've watched him promote guys like Jason Knight, Nick Wheeler and many others and the fantastic knives they produce, but to see him in action at the DISKIN USA booth is something that can only be fully appreciated in person. That booth is filled with a sense of electricity felt no where else in the show.

Your a hell of a guy Joe! Just wanted to recognize all you do for us makers that are lousy at self promotion, especially me.

Thank you Joe

Well said and very true...while I was unable to attend, I certainly got a feel for the show from the vids.

Thank you, Joe, you are the man!

Yes, I/m impressed with Joes dedication also. Not many people out there that can reel in the attention we all need to make this passion work for us makers. I bet the Diskin Booth was the hit of the show as Joe is a hell of a promoter. Thanks Joe!

i've really enjoyed seeing all the video uploads on youtube, since i couldn't make the show. Where else can we see the makers and with such enthusiasm. Wish i could have been there, another big thanks to Joe

Mike it was a pleasure to meet you in person at the show and congratulations on achieving the highest status in the ABS.

I must echo your sentiments and comments about Joe. Rarely does one meet an individual like Joe with such genuine warmth, passion, and love for knives and people.

Joe has a way of making everyone feel included and special. He gives of himself with generosity and without expectation. A very rare quality today.

Blade would not be the show it is without him.

Joe is a dedicated guy who is really trying to help others in the knife community.

The videos from the Diskin Booth are great.

As always it was nice to see him at the Show.

Man you guys are gonna make me cry :)

I love the people In this community and everyone that knows me knows I'm a true friend

Many of you are my friends

Mike I knew from the moment we spoke a few months ago we would be friends

Hell you had me at Hello :)

Congrats my friend you are gonna bring the house down buddy

As for all the thanks

Matt Diskin of DISKIN USA made all this possible

He is the truest of friends and I do not know another maker that would let me host the circus of a booth that he lets me do

He unselfishly lets me fill his display case with other makers work

He lets me stop everything and shoot videos promoting our friends

He is a giant in this industry

His work is so easy to sell that he deserves all accolades for are tremendous success

Even a monkey like me could sell knives that are built and designed this well

He enables all that I do at these shows and we all owe him a huge debt of gratitude

We are thinking of expanding the booth and setting up an informal couch area to do these fun little interviews

Tell me another maker that would devotee this type of effort to promoting the knives and thee ole of this community

Thank you Mike

And most of all thank you Matt Diskin

Absolutely.

I couldn`t make itt to the Diskin USA booth, yet they came to visit US!

Joe, you have a gift. You set the high standard for passion and camaraderie. So cool to be associated with you and to see the vibes happen!

This said, MQ has a large helping of this gift. Mike, I applaud you for toasting JP.

(Still on the road, and looking forward to processing Mike`s work ASAP.)

Coop you and Susan are a gift to us all and my only regret of this show is that STeven could not find a restaurant that we eat at every year :)

I owe you guys dinner

Joe's passion for the knives and people in our knife world is the same (difficult to find a match) on or off of a camera and his enthusiasm through the whole show was contagious. Thank you for all your extraordinary efforts Joe.

Congrats Mike!

Joe P, I regret not being able to get by the Diskin both. Damn busy show! You're the man!

I've been enjoying your videos, Joe, and even though my typing abilities have been temporarily interrupted, I want to thank you for them and for everything else you do and have done for this scene.

You're a wonderful ambassador for this scene, and you have so much class. Keep up the good work!

Mike, well said and I couldn't agree more. Joe is the kind of guy that brightens the mood in a room with his presence. A welcoming smile and he treats everyone as if he has known them for years!

I was too busy at the show to see the videos, but I spent a little time at the Diskin booth and talking with Joe. There is no doubt that Joe is a high energy, positive, guy with good ideas and the follow-through to make them happen. A real asset to the knife maker and knife collector community.

Thanks Joe for bring me into the fold so to speak. I have enjoyed the projects and the attention you bring to so many great people around here.

A Shout Out to both Mike and Joe!

Mike it was a great pleasure getting to know you more.

And Joe as always it was good seeing you my brother. We will talk with you in a couple days.

It was a fun Blade Show hanging out with everyone.

All we need to do to solve the nation's energy problems is figure a way to harness Joe's enthusiasm. ;)
