Joe sat at our table at the CKCA Banquet and he was ball of energy. Showing us the new Diskin knives, wanting to know if we brought any knives for show and tell.

He made an already enjoyable evening that much better.

Thanks Joe, and thanks Mike for starting this thread

I did get to go by Matts table and meet Joe for the first time. I have followed his posts here and videos as well. He is a stand up nice guy. It was my pleasure to meet you. Richard Epting

Thank you for all the effort you put into making all these wonderfull knife videos! Btw I also very much appreciate your archery youtube films...
Don't stop!! :)

Joe, I was going to say nice things too, but my free knife wasn't in the mail today...... :p

In all seriousness, I too enjoyed the videos. Thank you for taking time to put them together. Did you use a shotgun microphone? The sound is better than I would expect in a venue like this.

Another huge CONGRATULATIONS to Mike for his MS stamp and it was a pleasure and utmost honor to meet you and share some conversation.

The Diskin USA booth is such a pleasurable experience that it defies description.....with Joe 'out front' almost anybody that's anybody in the World of The Finest Cutlery may, and did, drop by for a visit.

I can't thank Matt, Joe, and David enough for allowing me to hang around for a bit during the show and all of the fantastic Artisans that I was introduced to and got to associate with....thanks and congrats again to them and a big thanks to Mike, one of the finer Gentlemen I've ever had the pleasure to meet.

Joe is one of the nicest people I have ever met and a true friend to the knife community in general. My life is richer for having met him.

Thank you,

Scott

Very classy move, Mike ! Big :thumbup:

Joe's enthusiasm is contagious, and I was happy to be able to watch those videos, since I couldn't be at the Show:(

Joe,

Thanks again, man, for all you are doing for custom knives of ALL varieties. And thanks for helping me out as well

I loved the vids Joe. One of my big regrets on my travels was not getting in to see you. But I hope I get the rectify that next time :).

Keep up all the good work. We need plenty of guys with your active enthusiasm!!

I finally got to meet Joe on Saturday. Without me saying a word, he was handing me knives left and right to look over. He is passionate about knives and wants to share everything with everyone.

I am still amazed at how he made so many "excellent" quality videos at the Diskin USA booth, yet still had time to talk to folks like me.

Super nice guy, and I look forward to seeing and talking with him again.

Robert

Mike, thanks for starting this thread

Joe is truly a class act. As so many others have said. You walk up to the booth and he is all kinds of energy going. Wants to talk to every one. He wants to share his passion for knives. And good hell the videos were fantastic.

It was my pleasure to finally meet you Joe

Thanks

Bing

Joe's one of those special people who cause a big grin to start as soon as you see him. Besides, anybody Pappy Long likes that much has to be a great guy!

Great to see you again, Joe. And thanks to Mike for this thread,

John

You guys are all way to kind and it is me that is greatful to all of you :)

The camera is an GoPro

Shooting in 1080 HD

The GoPro has an excellent lens and its only weakness for this type of application is the internal mic

By adding a Rode Shotgun Mic it makes a pretty neat setup

Thanks again

Joe this whole video series is just been fantastic. I've actually been watching the videos to help get over the post blade show blues.
Thanks again Joe

Another thanks to Joe for the videos. Great way for us to "meet" the makers in a new way. Sure hope to meet you in person one day.

And congrats to MikeQ of course.

Thank you for bringing the show to us Joe. We truly appreciate all your efforts and enthusiasm.
