I shan't be telling your all of my evil tricks, but suffice to say that this particular knife is brought to you in great part by Nathan's 72 inch "big wheel" platen and his flat platen with the 3/8 radiused end. ;)

Good lookin blade. Ive enjoyed using his flat platen but have yet to try the curved on (forgot which size it is) due to not having the air setup yet or a cooling water setup for it.

I am sure Nathan's tools helped make it easier, but there is a lot more to that knife than you having better tools. Excellent work.

Wow, that turned out awesome! Like Jim said, a lot more than just my grinding gear went into that, but I still find it very gratifying to play even a small role in works like that.

Can you describe your process?

OK, now I've got to get one of those platens. Are you still selling them, Nathan?

Gorgeous looking knife. That's pretty much what we all want to be able to produce some day.

The radius from the spine to the swedge was formed by grinding lengthwise tang end down on the 3/8 end of your flat platen with the top idler wheel removed from the KMG platen attachment. You must go SLOW. I think that lot of folks just use the 2 inch wheel because this is a different look from that or using the edge of the platen and then maybe a round file to clean up. The curve of the clip, the grinding of the swedges AND the recurve were also done lengthwise on your 72 inch platen.

I never thought about using the radius platen vertically. this has got the wheels turning now.
