Folks,
Just wanted to give Charlynn at Spyderco a public thank you for her excellent customer service. I purchased a Sypderco Techno recently and removed the pocket clip from it as I do with all my folders.
I discovered that the original screw holding the clip was too long to put back in the knife without it sticking up beyond the surface of the scale. I sent an email to Spyderco asking if a shorter screw was available and how much it cost, fully intending to purchase it if available.
Charlynn responded to my email saying that a shorter screw was indeed available and that she would send one my way. A few days later I received the screw along with a little bottle of locktite. She also wrote on the bag what size torx driver was required.
Little things like this gesture maybe insignificant to the manufacturer but are important to and very much appreciated by the end user.
So thanks again to Charlynn for helping a customer out.:thumbup:
