I posted in General about my Hinderer XM-18 bowie, it was missing two pocket clip screws and I had no idea how to get replacements. . I was thinking about selling it and all that. Anyways Whitty offered to send me some new screws. I wasn't a previous customer, I thought it was a nice gesture. Well I placed an order for an anodized bronze ZT 0562CF I have been window shopping for awhile, also ordered a cool looking holey stonewashed clip for my Hinderer. I just need to get some blue Loctite at the hardware store tomorrow and I'll reassemble the Hinderer. All this was shipped Monday and I got it Wednesday and excellent customer service. I'll look there first when I save up enough for an XM-24 skinner.

Scott is a cool dude, and very clearly a marketing genius. For the miniscule price of two small screws, he gained a customer. That's how it's done.

Don't locktite the handle screws, it can make them a beast to get back out since the handle nuts are round.

CookieRawwr thank you for the post and nice comments. It is greatly appreciated when customers give us feedback here. Sorry I am just now seeing it!

I do agree with draperfish. Do not loctite the handle screws as it is murder getting them undone!

Oh I didn't Loctite the handle screws, just the pocket clip screws and the tab. I used a very small amount. I didn't want them going anywhere, like when I first got the knife and lost two of them somehow. The knife looks awesome now I might be getting a Ti scale soon, well I really want an XM-24 skinner, almost got enough for one.
