Can you please enlighten me, a newbie here, as to what the smoke might mean? I get the idea from context but if you wouldn't mind explaining more I'd appreciate it.

CF, I started the Smoke thing a long time ago. Not being Christian I offer prayers up in the form of Smoke from one of the plants we ndns consider Sacred, Cedar, Sage, Sweetgrass, and/or Tobacco.
After a while Smoke also included the incense some of the other folks burn for lasting prayers seeing as how there are many from other faiths here that aren't Christian, but also even some of the Christians started sending up Smoke.
