I feel I owe a huge thank you to Stacy Apelt.

This kind gentleman has offered me his aid in assuring that I will be able to attend the Ashokan seminar this year. I was not sure if I would be able to send in a check on time to reserve a spot, and Stacy was kind enough to step forward and lend me the funding.

I just figured everyone here who knows Stacy from his incredible knifework, and his help and guidance to those of us who have needed it from time to time, aught to know that he is a first rate gentleman who was both able and happy to help when his help was neither specifically, personally requested, nor particularly deserved. That kind of volunteer altruism I think should be recognized.
