Thanks to all who helped Totally Judy on her quest to find the perfect gift, knife-wise. It is perfect and I will use it for many years. Thanks to you all.

Hunka Hunka Burnin' Love!!!

Welcome to the world of my new obsession. The KnifeKnuts here are wonderful and they really did guide me to finding your Christmas present (well.... the knife present....).

Burning one,

Welcome! TJ seems nice, just a bit shy, perhaps your presence will bring her out of her shell.

I get some pleasure from finding a relentlessly peaceful use for a combative looking knife.

Darn..... and I've been trying to convince him for the past year that I'm still the sweet and innocent Judy he remembers from high school.

I'm sure HHBL will be VERY receptive to any suggestions you might want to give him for my Valentine's Day and Birthday presents!!! tee hee hee..... hint... hint... hint....

HHBL- welcome to the forums! Glad to hear you like the gift. For all the effort she put into finding the right one for you, I'd have to say she deserves a Microtech!

HHBL,

Now YOU need to buy your lady a Spyderco Sharpmaker so that she can keep your (and HER) new knives razor-sharp.

Ah, shucks, guys...... You make me blush. But keep it up! I certainly wouldn't want my HHBL to take me for granted.

Welcome HHBL! That is the perfect forum name for you! I am the guy who proposed to Judy on behalf of the 8000 plus male members here. Since you like your knife I guess You get the girl too! Since you won the benchmade and the girl (I'm in a 1950's game-of-chicken metaphor mood okay!) you also get this tip from me. Judy was looking at the Benchmade 940. I began to wonder whether she was looking at it for HERSELF! I have seen blue ones and green ones and another color too (red maybe) and they have an axis lock! Very cool. Maybe you could bring up that knife in a conversation and see whether TJ's face lights up!!!

Oh, ditto on the Sharpmaker suggestion. They are good sharpeners. Ceramics, a buffer and a belt sander make the perfect set-up, but, the sharpmaker will do until you get the other gear!!!

Hunka, welcome to the forums, congratz on your new knife, and my compliments on your taste in women, TJ is very cool. As strange as it seems there's not all that many women that admit to liking knives, and even more rare is finding someone as honest as she is. I know I for one do everything I can to keep my wife off of BF's. If my wife got on here she would find out about knives I have that I would be better off her not knowing about.
*Wink*wink* enough said.

Hunka, welcome to the insanity that is Bladeforums. Just be prepared to spend large amounts on money on shiny sharp objects!

You two have another problem now: You'll have to swear not to read eachother's "what to get my HHBL/What to get my TJ" posts during the holidays, or you'll ruin the surprise!

I *swear* I will not read "What to get my TJ" posts during the holidays.....really! uh....yeah...sure. Nah.... I'd *NEVER* do something like that! tee hee hee....

judy

p.s. Actually, I told HHBL this morning that he's on his own here in the Forums and he can say anything he wants ( just like me!).

okay.... enough editing....

Hmmm...What could I possibly get TJ for her birthday? Any suggestions out there. OK Judy, I know you're not reading this since you promised.

Hunka, she got you a BM 330, right?
Well, Benchmade also made that same knife with pearl scales, and I here girls like pearls. Hey good enough for the goose good enough for the gander. Besides it would be kind of cute for you to have the same model knife. If you like you can see this knife on my PhotoPoint site, go to "My Knives" I bought one for my wife her last birthday.

Welcome to BFC HHBL!!!!!

This post made my day. I haven't been able to check in for a couple of days and look what I find....A post from HHBL. That's excellant!!!

You two are great.
smile.gif

So, for b-day suggestions I am going to refer you to this site: www.williamhenryknives.com

Check out their mother of pearl Lancets (or Spearpoints if Judy likes 'em big). I suggest these knives to you since I sure that money is no object to you when it comes to Judy.
*Note-I wouldn't have said that if I thought that she was lurking here.

Also, maybe our leader Spark can lock you two out (from viewing) each other's b-day/holiday posts??
Seriously though,I doubt that. You're both on the honor system for now.
Yeah right.....Good Luck!!

HHBL, at least you can now see what that Judy is up too. Right???

hehe, you're going to get this guy killed.

She said she wanted a purple knife, HH, so maybe a purple MT UDT-problem being it's automatic so may not be legal in CA (I don't know).
Somebody remind me if there was a purple Mini-Socom. Thought I saw one on ebay.
Anybody know of any other purple (yuck!-sorry TJ) knives?
