I finally finished my first slip joint. It took awhile and I'm grateful for the advise I got from Shop Talk. Thank you. It's 3 1/2" closed made of ATS34 and 416SS liners. The nickel silver bolsters and walnut scales are from the old George Schrade shop and I used my great grandfathers stiddy and hand tools to make it. The shop went out of business in 1958 when the Federal Switchblade Act was passed. This is one of 5 patterns that was being developed in the transition period of automatics to folders.Closed .jpgEdge view.jpgFull Open.jpgHalf Stop.jpg

Nice Job..... Not the easiest knife to build cuz they force me to THINK!!!!

great effort and a good looking knife , can't help but think a long nail pull would fit the bill on this one :thumbup:
