Took mine to work and looked under a 15x glass. It's not an e,but rather an o with a line through the center. Sort of like how you write 0 for computer speak except the crossbar isn't slanted. Like(-) if the parenthesis were closed up.

And I don't have an uncle mofo but I understood that they look like "mofo" and the Mr.mofos look like mefo
I kinda like it being mefo. It's like some of the Deleware commemorative quarters have a spelling error on them. Those misspelled quarters are MORE collectible and more valuable. Hey, they must drink CBL at the Denver mint
