Just wanted to say thanks to BFC member pertinux for a recent custom order. It took a little back-and-forth to get the handle material right, but we found what was needed. Payment was sent immediately when the knife and sheath were ready. Thank you for your patience and support!

This was my first-ever commission, of any item ever, and James Terrio (Terrio Handmade Knives) knocked it out of the park.

I had a couple idiosyncratic requests (which is a nice way of saying, I'm selective picky about "blue"), and James went above and beyond to make sure I'd be pleased with my knife.

James's responsive communication throughout, including pictures and quick clarifications regarding design decisions along the way, made the process an especially enjoyable one.

It's a little daunting, to go from ideas and notions to a finished product. I'm still amazed that James could take my loosely-formed needs/expectations/ideas for a knife and produce something that suits me so well, better than I knew to envision or ask for.

Mr. Terrio knows what he's doing.

Thanks, James!

"Picky" is one word for it :D Seriously though, every problem is a challenge and every challenge is an opportunity. The opportunity to meet new challenges is what custom orders are all about.

Great-looking knife. Nice work James, that one's gone to a good home ;) :D
