I am too. I've learned a lot, spent a lot and made some good friends. For you registered users, since this community has given so much to you, pony up for a membership! All you need is a credit card (unless you're international) and this link. I'm sure Spark will appreciate it, and if you feel this good getting what you have from here, imagine how good you will feel once you give something back! And if you go Gold or Platinum, there are "other" places you get to go, too! :D

Is this a great community or what!

I have loved knives since i was a little kid(many ppl thought and still do think im weird for that) and when i was 15 i found blade magazine at the book store,i thought "holy crap a magazine all about knives!" but unfortunately i still had no one to talk to about knives that actually gave a hoot, but then i found bladeforums 6 months ago and couldnt be happier. I think this is a great forum, so thanks:D

Thanks to blade forums I have bark river knife disease. The cure is very expensive.

I have other diseases too, spyderco syndrome, swamprat plague, ect and so on

I've learned a lot about knives, been introduced to some serious brand additctions (Busse comes to mind), and met some good folks.

Great Posts, Everyone!
I just ordered a Beretta Avenger---Thanks to BladeForums!

It's agonizing, and yet pleasurable, at the same time. But, that's my wife's job. I just want my RAT!

Thanks to Bladeforums I've learned more about knives, steels, geometry, grinds, sharpening, where to find the best deals, gadgets & gear, survival skills than ANY school could teach me....not to mention all the laughs I get in W&C & the Cove.
Thanks Spark:thumbup:

Halbie---Are you "waiting" for a Busse yet??

No, but I could be. You'll see my RAT soon enough.

Do you want me to get a Busse? Is that it? Is that the ultimate challenge?

Sorry, don't know if you're serious or not... :)

Busse = Hard Use
Bark River = Hard use + Style

This is just my opinion.I don't own a Busse,but I wish I did.

I already have a couple of Fallkniven. Stylish, like ABBA, but with balls, big balls. And, I'll soon have a RAT RC-6 and a CSC D'Holder Bowie. What do I need with any of these... these... pretenders? :)

(Just kidding, of course. I will no doubt get some of each.)

Thanks to Bladeforums, I have been able to introduce friends to the wonderful world of sharp pointy objects :D

Have also spent more money than i have (not that anyone here understands :p), and have made a bunch of friends that, like all of you guys, hope to keep for a long time
