It takes time (a lot of it!) and effort to write and describe the various processes in knifemaking, or in any other field or topic for that matter. I appreciate the tutorials and advice that many post on this forum, and enjoy gleaning what I can from the wisdom (and wit) of others. I always, repeat always learn something, and usually leave the computer with a smile on my face. It is a great way to start a day.
All of that said, I wanted to extend a special thank you to Salem Straub. The seemingly endless stream of information he provides to this forum, as well as on his website is a testament to him and the kindness of his heart. I am certain that his advice, opinions, and comments have helped many among the group of silent readers , or at least caused them to pause and think for a moment.
So, thank you Salem, my hat is off to you sir!
Curtis
