Thanksgiving

Mine was pretty low key! I spent it alone, grilled a ribeye and just chilled out. I'd been planning to do TG at a friend's place with him and his family but it's a bit of a drive and with my Bell's Palsy I didn't feel up to traveling. It was fine though, very relaxing and no stress! I do hope that I lick the BP by Xmas though!

I also found after Thanksgiving memes online, one that I laughed at showed Barbie from thin to heavy set with the caption of Barbie to Carbie. Another was a very fat cat trying to get through a very small kitty door.

Did anyone carve up the turkey or use their JKs for their meal?

Sorry about the double posts, maybe a time delay in my iPad.

We used the Paring knife and the Improved Bowie for a lot of prep work. Here is a quick shot of the Paring knife in action.

yup! ff used to prepare a squash soup (cutting large squash, removing skin and seeds, cutting ginger, that's basically it).

I'll post up some pics from the deal in the ff review I eventually will write.

I do have to apologize, because I forgot to take pictures of my mom's veggie Shepard's pie (it was pretty good though; I'll try and remember to take a pic of leftover - if there are any left ;))

would you folks be interested in my sharing a holiday prayer I came across (in a bit of buddhist modernism marketing/ad!)?

it's pretty good, perhaps a slightly different approach to prayer, but still obviously prayer
