today is a day to remember those who gave the most -be they our newest vets or the men and women of the revolution-

for me its my grandfather-a ww2 vet-my uncle edgar and uncle bruce-vietnam vets-

Who have given us this country to live in.

What we can do is keep is free...

By voting...and working...

Toward keeping this country out of the hands of them evil politicians...:mad:

who will take away what those men and women gave their lives to keep!:grumpy:

Jeez...I am feeling a bit of good old fashioned American rebellion in my blood.:o

And that is a good thing!:D

God bless us Americans! We are gonna need all the help we can get!

People on the BF are an unusually nice bunch. It's true that service is its own reward -- whether in the military, as a LEO, as a firefighter, etc. But it's nice to hear a 'thank you' once in awhile.

And another 'thank you' from an old vet to the many, many new vets. Here's hoping they all come home safe and sound.:thumbup:
