I took the double nylon band off of my G2110V G-Shock and put it on my GW-300A. I did have to shave the rubber stabilizers off of the adapter piece with a razor blade, but the fit is pretty good. The G-spot end of the watch is almost a perfect fit. The top end of the watch has just a small gap between the watch and adapter. Overall, the experiment was a success. I now have my favorite G on a double nylon band. Be careful if you try this at home. Getting the double band adapters on an Atomic Solar is not easy. Major patience is required or youll be testing your watches shock resistance off the nearest wall.
I'm now thinking about swapping the double band with the single velcro band off my 2300B G-shock. The single velcro band is VERY comfortable, without the added bulk of the current double band.
It's not hard to find a G-Shock double velcro band. The hard part is finding the band adapters that attach to each end of the watch. I have not found a single definite US distributer of these adapters. My best guess would be a call these guys on the telephone. Casio Sales and Service , and see if they sell the part. Don't bother to email them. They never seem to repond.
