That perfect knife

I have a fair number of Perfect Knives but I will boil it down to a smaller group for this thread . I would change NOTHING with any of these knives and I enjoy Carrying and Using each of them .

I really believe that this old Taylors Eye Witness is the very best Work Knife that I have and is as solid as a rock .

And this old knife got carried a lot

If we're talking dead nuts perfect, the one that comes to mind is this cabernet bone ratcliffe. I've done up alot of them & this one is about right - jigging is nice and crisp / deep, love the color, shield sits perfectly flush, blades center well with zero wobble, walk and talk is to die for ... I'd have to say this is my #1 --->

Here's another that I wouldn't change a thing about. This knife was about $5, so there's one reason I really like it; now the rest.

It has nice snap, not hard but not too light. Really can't complain about that. It has classic looking yellow handles which I love. They're delrin too so they are very tough. It came nicely pre-patinaed on the blades and springs. Hardly sharpened too, so the blades are nice and nearly full. Great build quality and well ground blades that cut like the dickens and sharpen with ease. Basically it's just a well made no frills working knife in my favorite pattern and I like everything about it. Practically speaking I could carry this for the rest of my days or until it wore out and I wouldn't need for more of a knife (but as a knife nut that won't happen).

I’d say for me the 66 Calf Roper doesn’t need a thing. I think the size is just right for a one knife kinda person. The blade combination takes care of anything I want it to. I wouldn’t change a thing.

I've been thinking about this all day, and there's only two that are really sticking out to me right now: my single spear blade, barehead, Ebony GEC 14 and my Ebony GEC 83. I wouldn't change either of them.
