That uniquely cool EDC item?

1 GB thumb drive. Although I always have a knife and flashlight I do go days at work without needing them. Not so the thumb drive.

Moleskine notebook and some type of small pen.

Fisher Space pens are nice, but I found a "generic" one at Staples for $4 and is smaller & lighter...just don't try to write upside-down.

iPod junkie here. I've been making a different mix every night to time the next mornings workout.

Another vote for Moleskin notebooks and Fisher Space pens.

I have the Nukubaton II, it's totally groovy! Some people at work couldn't figure out what it was: Flashlight? Laser pointer?

Quote from maker:

"These are 1/2" diameter 6AL4V titanium and are about 4 1/2" long (not counting the keyring). There are 18 holes around the diameter and one hole through the front containment screw that allow the light from the tritium vial to shine through. The tritium vial is secured in a cushion of silicone rubber to avoid damage upon impact. (This system has been tested by repeatedly dropping one from a height of 7 feet - "Nuke" symbol down - directly onto bare concrete floor.)"

I tell them it's just a key fob that glows in the dark. It's my magic wand (to delegate work). Heh!

Whats the cost of somthing like that?

Check my link again...there will be two links to the other board on one of the images, where the maker posted the original threads. The maker is Tom Anderson. Cost? Sigh...more than you could imagine, but hell, it's very cool. You can decide if it's worth your hard earned cash. :)

No offense if that is your forum site, but...

Making me register just to view the forums is annoying.

Making me wait for the owner to approve me registration before I can even view the forums is complete overkill....

Sorry for the rant, but I just want to read.... To do that, It shouldnt take 30 minutes..

A hearty hello from a fellow forum member who also has a horrible sense of direction. I carry an REI button compass on my EDC neck lanyard.

Hey, no one wearing a good watch? Are you relying on the watch of your cell phone?
Guess a good mechanical (automatic) watch which doesn't need battery is also a nice EDC.

 Now that's COOL! Pcnorton, do you own one? If so, what do you think about it?

It looks way cool, for sure, but it was not reviewed extremely well at www.the-gadgeteer.com. Apparently because of privacy concerns, the bloody thing beeps before it takes a picture. That's not what I would call a stealth camera.
