I have never gone down in any thing like that :eek: :eek: just light bush.

i did do an experiment at the survival forum and developed a sure fire method of lighting a fire. my balls burned the longest with a melted beeswax and Vaseline mixture injected in to them.

i melted the mixture together in a small sauce pan and used a syringe to inject a small amount in to the center of my balls where it hardened instantly.

just getting them close to a spark or flame made those baby's explode.

i did however find that the best balls to use were the Johnson and Johnson 100% pure cotton balls. some other brands have some synthetic material in them.

try it, one spark from a steel will set them ablaze in a hurry!

i now carry them in my small survival kit next to my busse :thumbup:
