Thats great! would definately make me proud.

I had a 8' red tailed boa my wife maid me find another home for when my daughter was about to be born. Now that she is 3 I am thinking of getting another.

what kind of snake is that? Corn snake?

enjoy her as much as possible, they grow up so fast...my son is 10 and it all went by so quickly...great pic eric

Is that a tattoo on her arm sneeking out from under he sleeve? Special Forces press-on from the Cracker Jacks maybe? :D

What a great kid. She looks like she is a lot of fun and a sweetheart! What a great age!

That'll keep those evil boys away when she gets older..... My oldest daughter has a boyfriend now, he's a great kid, but it is still scary for poor old dad. Can I borrow that snake?:D

Aw man, she looks just like you..... The little girl is cute too.:D

I hope my girls aren't wusses when they get a bit older.

The poor snake doesn't know what's going on. :)

I don't think her boyfriends have to worry about dad.
It's pretty obvious she can take care of herself!

Hey Guys...

Thanks..

Yaa I think she's awesome when it comes to stuff like that... Takes her a few minutes,, but she picks up pretty quick....

She loves snakes..
Ever since I brought home a baby Fox snake she couldn't put it down,, and slept with it beside her bed..

My boys won't even hold this one LOL

The funny thing is,, when we were going outside there was a Flutterby on the ground and it freaked her out.. Go figure... She doesn't like the erratic flying...

Jimi..

The snake was calm and gentle this morning,,and we played with it all day...

I put it around her neck and went into the house.. "Mom Do you like my Necklace? "

All i hear from outside is :

E R I C !!!!!!!!!! Get that ( Expletive ) Snake OUT of the house !! LMAO

My wife Shutters when she sees my daughter with it...
Skyler's laughing, the snake crawling down her shirt collar...

Should be fun next week with a family gathering here !! :)

All I gotta worry about with her now are the trouser snakes when she gets older !!! :)

Shotgunner...

you know what,, you simply gotta start them out really young in nature and handling things.. She knows that dad isn't going to let her touch anything that is Potentially dangerous. I started off all of my kids with Anything I found outside,, toads, frogs, bugs birds, all kind of critters... They learn cquick, and as long as they trust you,, they folow along..Their natural curiosity kicks into overdrive and they quickly lose their fear..

The trick is show them and let them handle as much as they absolutely can.

Esav...

I hope so to... She's now learning to smack the boys in the Junk when they get too rough with her !! LOL

I told her.. " If they are too rough with you,, just smack them in the Junk!"

That'll fix'm :)

My 6yo. and 4yo. do OK. They both love bugs. Just got them a little bug vaccuum yesterday, got a roach and 2 spiders last night.

I'm a little nervous because we're moving to Texas in a month (from Jersey) and they just don't know what to avoid.

Great pics Eric, developing a healthy interest in outdoors and nature from a young age is always good to see !!!

Ants. They need to avoid all ants in Texas. Fire ant bites leave welts on most people, and some people get worse than that. One fire ant bite is uncomfortable. 20 or 100 are misery.

Sounds stupid, but fire ants look just like any other ant -- but they aren't. They are spawn of Satan. They will get twenty or thirty of their best friends to all crawl on you at the same time, and then all bite down at the same time. Then the kid starts screaming. It's awful for transplant kids who like to play in the yard. If you see a loose pile of sand in an odd place, it's probably a fire ant nest.

Don't kick it and stand there. Trust me, don't. Especially if you are a short legged 4 year old.

Kick it and step away quickly. :D Then BURN THEM!!

Thanks for the advice. I got my butt handed to me while ripping out an old sandbox at my parents house. It had a wood frame and I ripped that out all in one piece and while carrying it across the yard I was like....ouch.....Ouch....OUCH.....OH DEAR GOD... OUCH!!!
