When I was 20 years old, I had a 650 BSA motorcyle and a grilfriend who could rest her chin on my helmet when she was tired!
She was a lot of fun, and this knife reminded me of her, from so many years ago - colorful and loooonnnngg! ;)
Ah well, life moves on . . . .
It's hard to get this knife into a picture with its more normally sized bretheren.

Here we go;

Hummm, I guess I'll post it by its lonesome;

In all its 4 1/2" glory! Tang says Crown Cutlery Co. (arched) (over) NEW YORK (over) U.S.A.
Longest HJ I've ever seen. Maybe it's an English Harness Jack; or, a Harness English Jack, hmmmmmm. . . . . . . .
The punch is a Napanoch (later became Winchester) XXL version! :D
Pretty cool if you ask me - even if you don't!!:p

That's an HJ!
Here's a pic next to a 3" Dogleg.

Charlie,

Thanks for sharing with us! That one has everything super-sized including the bolsters and shield. The punch blade next to the 3" dogleg gives a pretty neat size comparison.

Dang. When you get some time, Charlie, can you scan it with the punch closed and the blade at the half stop? I like big knives, but that one might even be too big for me. Then again... How are the pulls?

That's a beauty Charlie!

Here you go, James!

Pulls and snap are average to good. You get a lot of leverage, so it is not hard to open the blades.

charlie nothing on this old earth stirs the collectors heart like those old goodies . thanks for the pics.---dennis

That punch looks like a bayonet from an SKS. Sheesh, you're going to need suspenders to carry that thing around.

That handle looks incredible it looks awful similar to some of GEC's current offerings you've got to love punch blades.

I love it. As they say, size matters.

Charlie, when you have finished with my knife, could you mail it back to me please..as it has been a while :D
Seriously...that knife is in a world of class on its own, I don't mind a knife being this big, when its this beautiful.
