The “one” that just keeps popping up. That you can’t put down……

Spyderco Military in CPM S30V and my super handy peacemaker by Fehrman. Other days I just pop a SAK in the pocket before I exit the door.

The above comment about Glock weapons gets a nod from me. I always thought they were a bit on the ugly side compared to some of the other custom .45's out there. Glock will be the one I choose if the SHTF in my neck of the woods.

I keep going back to my BRKT Woodland Special. It is an awesome knife. When I need a folder, Fallkniven U2 all the way.

Plus, U2 is a good band too.....but that is another subject!! :)

... do you have that “one” knife that you just keep going back to and it’s not your best, favorite and not your most expensive knife? These is just something about it, that when you see it you pick it up and want to carry it again and again.

KISS principle = Douk-Douk in back pocket. End of story. :D

Since 1999 ; the legendary benchmade 710 ;after 8 years i cant get bored of this one

Benchmade 530 PE and Delica 3 SE.
Sometimes an Endura 4 PE rather than the Benchmade.

I have three EDCs that I love above all others: Mini Grip (Round hole), Spyderco Native, BM 530 (mine is 440c, but I will get a 154CM 530 soon.)

Browning Ice Storm. Most under rated knife I know. Made by Mcusta, VG10 steel and alloy handle. Fantastic value.

Wharcom and Military.

The Wharcom is too small not to carry. Front pocket, change pocket, behind the wallet, in the wallet...it'll go anywhere comfortably. The secure grip, small size, wharncliffe blade and how close the cutting edge is to your index finger make it a great small precision cutter, which is exactly what I like to pair my large folders up with.

The Military took me by surprise. My large folder of choice was a Cara Cara for a while, then I traded for this. Great ergos, well done full flat grind, lots of cutting edge in one of my favorite blade shapes and quite possibly the best liner lock I've used. I love the handle construction since it's light but still has plenty of strength. It's larger but carries better than my Byrd for me.

Love this combo for EDC.

I have 40+ folders priced from $20 to $450. I find myseld going back to my Spyderco Delica 4 PE. Can't really explain it. Some knives are too big or too small. Some have blade shapes that are not just right. Some are not that comfortable to carry. Some just don't feel right in the hand. Some are too expensive to edc. Some of the steels are not just right. The Delica just feels right. Like my favorite pair of jeans.

I'm beginning to think that the Spyderco SS Etched Dragonfly with VG-10 steel is about perfect for EDC. I took off the clip and it's a pocketbottomer. The etched handles makes it resilient against scratching. It's a no nonsense low maintenance scalpel that the sheeple don't get too wound up about.
