Did some preliminary handle mods to the Micarta clip point version of the Drop Bear 2. Here is it alongside a G10 version to show the difference with the handle shape. Really, I just made the ergonomics more neutral and a little more round at the edges. It feels so much better to me now!

I'll clean it up a little from here and eventually dye it.

I too saw the Drop Bear as the perfect host for a little modding. I was happy with the Ti handle, but the stock Elmax blade profile did nothing for me. I figured the Drop Bear could benefit from being a little more of a drop point. It’s now much better suited for point work. I also went with a slightly finer hand rubbed satin finish.

Did a rehab on a user that I bought my brother as a gift fifteen or so years ago.

This baby had done some work. Blade was ate up with battery acid. Clip looked like a well used skateboard that didn't come with wheels. lol

Even found a piece of tape inside.

CRKT’s new Minimalist 154CM Drop Point Knife, lackluster scales had to go. Replaced with green and brown burlap Micarta with blaze orange G10 spacers plus a proper lanyard hole. The modification adds weight but feels so good in the hand.
