Leather The “What’s going on in the S&F shop” thread!

The trees are popping today! Man did the temps take a dive. -24° in real numbers. For those of you that still believe water freezes at 32° and when your dead broke, you still have 32 bucks, the temp is -5°. 😜

I’m just giving ya’ll a rough time. 😁

So, I’m just gonna post this here…

One of the things I find challenging is estimating completion times for projects. Only being able to work leather after my day job and weekends is definitely challenging.

“Should be between 3-6 months….maybe 7….and a half…🤦‍♂️“

So what I am really wanting to say is “Thank You!” to all of the folks who have ordered work from me and wait ever so patiently for me to finish it. You all are so patient and understanding. I feel overwhelmingly blessed to call you friends.

2024 was an enjoyable leather year (other than the stress I cause myself. Haha.) I have enjoyed all the projects and conversations with each and every one of you.

For this coming year 2025, I have a number of projects on the books already. There are a few very large sheaths to finish up (finally got the design sorted…I think.) There is also the REK Knives REK Knives Ember 2.5 pocket sheath to design and of course, the waynorth waynorth collab City Stock Knife squeeze slip pre-order.

That said, I will be keeping my books closed for the moment. These projects will definitely take me into March. (errr….April? 🤣😂)
Please feel comfortable, though, to send me a DM for any inquiries, as it may be possible to squeeze a project or two into the mix.

I hope that 2025 is the best year of your life! And if not, I hope that things work themselves out and may we never forget that life itself is a blessing!

On the bench right now is the biggest sheath I have been asked to make to date.

The Stock-Holder sheath run is commencing tonight as well. :)

I will be moving onto the prototyping of a taco pocket sheath for the REK 2.5 Ember afterwards. :)

Just a little update…

I’ve decided to put all the pre-orders and sheaths for sale or re-available as stickies in the top of my subforum…so that is now where you will find new projects and available products. Thanks!
