The 0550 is here...AWESOME

With the excellent open construction, I don't think that lint should be too much of a problem for me during regular carry. I'm the same way about wanting to pamper it as well, but I imagine that if the 0550 could talk, it would laugh and ask me what the f**k am I doing that for...lol.

Thats true. I love open pillar construction. I am wondering if the hinderer standoffs on ME.com are also compatible with the 0550/0551. And the 0550 probably is laughing.

Hold the knife vertical and then use your thumb to push straight up on the thumbstud.

I also just received the 0550. It's awesome. However; the action is very stiff. Will this eventually loosen up or should I adjust the pivot?

Mine was a little stiff but has loosened up over the last week. Of course I spend a lot of time plaing with it when I'm watching TV. Now it is very smooth with a feel like my Hinderer XM18 I used to own.
