The 1 and only knife

Hi folks -

I would want to have a Kuhkris - Gurkha knife. I am assuming I would not be the only survivor, and when I too go to the Sam's club as mentioned above, I would rather have the large fighting blade than perhaps a leatherman etc. I could then make my way to Dicks or some other sporting goods store for additional weapons and tools.

If I were in a remote forest, of the knives I have now I would choose the Vic Outrider just for it's many functions even though it has a smallish blade.

I agree with the poster who says they just burn logs in half rather than needing to baton through them etc - and I supposed if I were building a shelter, I could break logs of a satisfactory size using my weight or leverage or both.

THIS ONE. I believe it has a good track record. 1/4 inch 01 Steel.

Just one? Wow, that hurts. I guess it would be my Ontario Tak, or Leatherman Wave. I would rather have both along with a Swiss Army knife.
 
I'd probably pick a high quality Khukri in the 16-18" size range, Like a Himalayan Imports CAK. They often have a small utility knife tucked in the scabbard for fine work.

I'd want my Swisstool Spirit along too.
