Here is Scott Cook fixed blade called the Owyhee that I picked up. It sports a 3 5/16" BG-42 blade and green Micarta handles. Workmanship is top notch. I also am on the list for one of his new folders in a LH version with tip down carry.
Another piece I picked up was this Wayne Hendrix Model 11 semi-skinner in ATS-34 and sporting a maple burl handle. I highly recommend that you check out some of Wayne's work. For the price I paid I think I got a great deal on a great knife.
Yet another little goodie from the shop of Kit Carson found its way into my possesion. This F-4 neck knife begged to come home with me. It is sporting a S90V blade and green G-10 handles. This one was quickly jumped on by my wife (dammit!). I need to get one for her and get this one back.
Keith,
Scott did have it with him. I passed out when I saw it and I had to clean myself up afterwards. I don't remember much more than that.
This little gem comes from our neighbor to the north, Jeff Diotte. This model is his Piranha. It is ground from ATS-34 and dressed up in black G-10 and red liners. The mosaic pin adds a nice touch to an otherwise tactical looking knife. The sheath, btw, is from OnScene Tactical.
Ken, thanks for the picture of the F4 with the green G-10 handles. I am going to be getting an F4 from Kit this fall or winter and was thinking of Stellite and green Micarta. The one you posted gives me a pretty good idea of what it will look like.
Awesome knives, Ken! All you guy'spostin pics of what you picked up sure have great taste. I had a large Owyhee in Desert Ironwood and although I carried it a couple times last hunting season, I never had the chance to use it. It was just so damned pretty I sold it before it got mussed up. That green Micarta is just awesome and looks more like my type of knife. Great to hear that the Lochsa folder is as nice as it looks. I have one ordered (#13, imagine that ) and am really chomping at the bit to get it. Thanks for the report.
The Pirhana is a pretty handy knife to have around....
I've got a bunch of them in various different variations..
My favorite is the one I received from Jeff as a Christmas present..
BG42 steel, red G10 scales two toned and polished perimeter...I carry it a lot...
Glad you like the knife and Hopefully the bsheath as well
