  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

The 300 in March!

Thermoplae was a mountain pass and in the days before artillery, a few hundred could hold a narrow space against a much larger force due to the lack of space for massed attack.

Hi Guys

The number 300 refers to King Leonides personal bodyguard which as legend has it were the last to die. King Leonides was killed and when Xerxes offered the last remaining Spartans their lives in exchange for his body they refused and chose to die with their honour intact.
Next time you are at the video store look up a 1960's movie called "The 300 Spartans". It was made around the same time and in the same style as "Sparticus" and "ZULU". If you want to understand the story without all the computer generated "Bullshit" you will love this original version.

My question is: Is it too much to hope that they will actually use Nine Inch Nails insturmentals in the movie?

(it was a rhetorical question)

:(

It certainly made the trailer awesome.

I sure hope it isnt a lame movie like "Alexander" and "Troy". Both those movies were real stinkers! :barf:
