The .308, the Impala and the RC 4 (Graphic warning)

The driver of the Landy on the weekend

I had to involve my two oldest kids. They did not see the sensitive stuff like gutting and skinning but I made known to them that the buck is to feed poeple and that hunting is a responsibility not to take lightly. The two youngest ones were not involved at all.

Sweet.

Is impala good eating?

I tried an Impala once, but it seemed chewy (maybe I should have taken the tires off first?). ;)

hehee the expressions on your kids' face are priceless! Very nice pics too!

Africa Slinger - Awesome photos! I hope to someday make it to your part of the world for a hunt such as this! Again, great photos, please post more!

Looks like a ton of fun.

I've found out that dead animal pics are ok here. I guess us RAT people tend to be more the outdoors type!

A.Slinger, very nice pics of the wild. There are no wild areas where I live that come close to that. Everywhere you turns its people, cars and houses & buildings. I guess this would seem like country to someone from New York. Your lil' girl is pinching her nose while looking at the Impala, how humorus but its appropriate for that age. I have a 2 yo girl and I know how they are, always around daddy! Good story & pics.

I was not sure about that, therefore the warning. It seems to have been received OK.

Irecon if you own a RAT you need to get outdoors.
