Here is a BirGorkha Janawar Katne. It is 38 inches in length and weighs in at 9 pounds. Our new man Durba made this one and so marked with the flag of Nepal. It is a 10/10 effort. I am really impressed with the work of this new man. He is quite good. The karda and chakma are 12 inches long to put this thing into perspective. And, I've included a picture of Vikash holding the khukuri for more perspective.

This was a special order for a customer who loves big blades and he simply couldn't live without this one. We don't like to make or ship these monsters but he had to have it and it will fly today. And guess where it's going? Florida!

Can I get one of theses? I really like this one. Besides I need something to make my 30" Sirupati look small.

Durba is foing a helluva job. I would really like it if Durba did it.

this one looks like it could become the Sword in the Stone. I wonder if its owner will drag it to the Konvention.

Look at Vikash's top hand. It doesn't go around the grip.

The grip looks proportionately small in the top picture, but large in his hands.

Now that's one that would/will take the kinks outta your back!!!!
Dayum!!!!!
Way to big for me, but I'm like John and would love to have the karda and chakma for one of these.

"VEGETARIAN".............
Indin word for lousy hunter.

I was thinkin that this one in a silver mount, would be a great one. I will wait until I evaluate the ghopte for hardness etc. We will see if he can make them as tough as he can make them good looking...

What is the Nepali word for battle axe?
