the 9 is sharp!!

You are certainly correct about it being sharp. It went through some of the forest that is my back yard and STILL gave me a 'paper cut' on my thumb that I did not notice until I looked down and saw the blood. I never felt a thing.

The BK9 is very sharp indeed. I somehow managed to shave off a single layer of skin without noticing. No blood, just the single layer. It wasn't until I was washing up and felt the difference under the water that I even noticed.

Ive had a couple close calls with the 9 after just a few weeks with it.LOVE IT!Its so easy to find the angle to sharpen on too.
