Re: Beowulf
I'm sorry, I'm having trouble finding info on that model.
How long sd the blade? Is the grind visible or polished out?
Can't believe there are 3 bolster knives (1 in Osage) and a bushcraft Karda left!
I'll take the:
2015 0220 28 Hunter w/ natural canvas bolsters over curly Ash, Trinity pinout, Tapered Tang, convex on 3/16 spalted 01 steel - $430
FWIW, Adam (Valkyrie Knives) makes AWESOME knives that are built like tanks but feature phenomenal ergos, fit, and finish. I had the opportunity to handle several of his knives at Blade Show last year and was thoroughly impressed with his offerings
Just wanted to add a few comments on Adams work. I totally agree with you Will on the quality fit and finish that Adam puts out along with the total feel of the knife. I've had the chance to handle several different profiles and styles for sheaths and have been very impressed. Matter of fact, he's just in the process of finishing a custom order tanto for me. Quiet young man, but very expressive in his work.
I thought that BCK would go fast. That's the first one out of the Forge in forever.
