Hello everyone , some already know that the name of this knife was coined by a forum member . It was a choice of that name or the camper special , the all purpose won .
This blade was hollow ground from 5/32" A-2 tool steel , heat treated to an Rc. 60-61 and deep freeze soaked ( aka cyro treatment ) , done here in my shop .
Ok , specs are :
O.A.L is 8-1/2"
Blade is 4" tip to finger guard
Sharpened edge is 3-1/2" Blood drawing sharp
Width is 1-1/2' at the blade plunge line
Handle is - stabilized double dyed ( gray ) maple burl , I'm not a fan of brass but this handle screamed for brass pins , so it got it .
Sheath is made by me also , 7 oz leather , tan dyed .
SOLD
$125.00 for this knife , Includes the shipping in the USA , international is $12.00 for ship . Pay-pal is sugarland@wwest.net , postal M/O good also , checks held for clearance .
Thanks for looking folks and comments are always appreciated and welcomed .
