Seems like the lousy weather is keeping people close to home and hearth in a lot of places this "spring"(so called!).
Let's play the Traditional knife Alphabet Game!!*
The rules!!
>You need to be able to post a picture for this one, please!!
> And wait until a few (at least three) knives with an apt tang stamp are posted, before jumping on to the next letter. This may give your friend a chance to post that pic he or she is scrambling to assemble, without being left in the dust!
>Hopefully your pic will show the tang stamp!
Traditional knives only please!!
I'll start with A!
American Knife Co. When the Alvord family sold Empire, ca. 1919, some unhappy Empire cutlers revived this name, and, bringing a few of Empire's patterns with them, started a Cutlery!!
Next!! Who's got another knife beginning with A??
*A tip of the hat to s-k, who did this a few times, a while back!!
